The Kenya Forest Service (KFS) Human Resource Department, in collaboration with Britam Group, conducted a life assurance cover sensitization session for staff from the Regional Forest Conservator (RFC) Eastern Office and the County Forest Conservator (CFC) Embu Office.
The meeting was led by Assistant Regional Forest Conservator, Madam Jane Kawira, and aimed to enhance staff awareness of the benefits and provisions of the life assurance cover. During the session, staff were sensitized on various aspects of the cover, including benefits relating to accidents, critical illness, disability and death, among other entitlements. The engagement provided an opportunity for staff to understand the protection available to them and their beneficiaries in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including incidents occurring in the line of duty.
The initiative underscores KFS’s commitment to staff welfare by promoting awareness of employee benefits and ensuring staff are well informed about the insurance protection available to them.
