The CCF, Mr. Alex Lemarkoko joined, Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry, Cabinet Secretary Hon. Soipan Tuya and Attorney General Hon. J.B. Muturi at Kona Baridi in Ngong Forest, Kajiado County for a tree growing exercise.
Over 6,000 tree seedlings were planted, adding up to a total of 754,810 trees grown so far across Kajiado County this year. The exercise is in line with the 15 Billion National Tree Growing Programme.
The site was assigned to the Office of the Attorney General and Justice Department in line with the revamped tree growing programme headlined by Cabinet Secretaries a cross the nation.
Also present at the tree growing exercise were Kajiado West, MP Hon George Sunkuiya, Solicitor General Shadrack Mose, NGAO’s, Community Members and Official & Staff from Justice department, Ministry of Environment and KFS.
