KFS hosted the French Ambassador His Excellency Anauld Suguet and his team from the embassy at the Mau Regional Conservancy office at Nakuru. The Ambassador and his team assessed the progress of the fire project activities at the Service that have been funded by the French Government.
During the visit, he was shown the the proposed Fire Management Unit/command center to be situated at Mau Conservancy regional office, the 35 meter communication mast constructed in the compound and the perimeter wall constructed to secure the equipment. He commended KFS for support and collaborating well with Tyllium in the project implementation.
In attendance was the Mau Regional Forest Conservator, Nakuru County Secretary for Environment, KFS Fire project manager, and staff from Tyllium.
