The CS for the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry Hon. Soipan Tuya visited Narasha Forest Station where over 180 thousand trees were planted with the support of the Ministry of Energy and the local CFA. The CS who was accompanied by the CCF Mr. Alex Lemarkoko and the PS for Energy Mr. Alex Wachira urged the local community to be at the forefront of forest conservation as it will benefit them directly.

Mr. Lemarkoko thanked all stakeholders led by the Ministry of Energy for immense contribution to restoration of forests in the region.

Others present during the event were the Member of Parliament for Eldama Ravine Hon. Musa Sirma among other leaders.
