DEPARTMENT OF FOREST EXTENSION
Farmers are now growing more trees than what was the case thirty years ago. The forest extensionist must live with them, share with them, identify with them, learn from them and teach them appropriate on-farm tree management skills.
This department is able to prepare the students by offering the following subjects: Communication Skills, Socio-cultural Studies, Community Participatory Approach, Extension methodology, Agro-forestry, Beekeeping, Soil and Water Conservation and Entrepreneurship.
